You probably heard from e-commerce gurus that it is so easy to make money online , almost everyone is rushing to setup business in e-commerce with promise to the Neverland but I am telling you that the bubble is about to burst and original people like you and me will suffer huge losses be it what type of strategies , platform we are engaging in our online business .
I have a FB friend engaging in FB Advertisement , she has spent US$5,000 boosting her ads . There are traffic but she did not get any business out of it and once she stop paid ads , the traffic stops and there are no visitor to her site since then . She was struck with merchandised and trying to get rid of to recover losses now . This is common story which we are hearing over and over again in this real world . We must remember that WE ARE THE MARKET which the so call e-commerce gurus are targeting. Why do you think they spent thousands of dollar to organize Get-Rich-Quick webinar /seminar/scheme and provide you the holy Grail to be successful online . It does not work this way ….
Here I am sharing my step by step approach on how to start an online business with zero cost . It will give you tons of experience to survive in this online jungle in the long run and rest assure that you will not burn a hole in your pocket towards end of the day which is what matters . This is a long haul progress process and don’t expect an overnight success since we are talking about organic growth from the very beginning.
I have created a website name Online Marketplace II in google site for free one month ago . Pls visit this site to get an understanding how I approach this online business .
Step 1 : Set up your free google website and start adding content to your google website . You can google Sites.google.com . I am adding new merchants to my google site almost everyday — Online Marketplace II . One of the advantage using Google site is that you can get better traffic because Google have better preference to own site content as compared to other site . Google site has recently upgrade their feature and I can say it is good start for beginner or experimental trial to begin your online business journey .
Step 2 : Find Merchandisers
The easiest way to start getting merchandiser is to join affiliate marketing . I would recommend you join Clickbank as a start . Clickbank is a Global Retailer and Affiliate Marketplace . You get to access to all their merchandisers once they approve your application . Copy the merchandiser link , banners and start posting in your preferred website . There are of-course a lot of affiliate marketplace available which you can explore to increase your merchandiser count in your website .
Step 3 : Showcase your Product & Services to the world and start promoting to other social media .
Once you have gather enough merchandiser in your website . It is now ready to go live . Start to promote your product and services in social media platform namely Facebook , IG , Pinterest , LinkedIn & many more . You want to get maximize exposure in all free social media traffic .
Step 4 : Analysis your results and make adjustment to your strategy accordingly .
Clickbank and other affiliate marketplace have free analytical tools for you to access to your performance . Study them carefully and developed a strategy to find your market niche . I am focusing on the following market segment now for my case study in Online Marketplace II which have more clicks /impression base on one month trials ;
1) Women
2) Cosmetics / Jewellery / Handbags
3) Wellness
You can see that I listed the above category at the very top of my website to maximize exposure . It was not listed in this format during the start of this project and eventually you will know what works or not .
Step 5 : Conclusion | The real journey begins and start venturing out to other online business once you acquire enough knowledge & experience .
You have accumulated enough on-line experience and now it’s time to venture out and create your own niche market in online marketing . You are in a better position now on how to be successful in online business after going through the above process . Developed your business plan and start talking to merchandisers which is your target market segment and enjoy the journey .
